In this classic French farce, a young man, Laurent, returns home to St. Tropez, bearing good news for his beloved father, Renato. Laurent is engaged to be married. And his girl's family is on their way to Renato's house for a meeting of the in-laws-to be. Nothing out of the ordinary here, except that while the pompous, wealthy, ultraconservative parents will be expecting to meet Renato and wife, they can never be prepared for the shock of meeting Renato and his flamboyant, campy, gay partner and nightclub performer- the drag queen, Albin. So in an effort to please his son and avoid problems, Renato reluctantly asks Albin for a performance of a lifetime, setting up an unforgettable, warm, side-splitting comedy.
